Symposium Do02
The Relevance of the intrinsic photosensitive retinal ganglion cells (ipRGC) - Symposium der Sektion DOG-Neuro-Ophthalmologie
Vorsitzende/r: Klaus Rüther (Berlin), Helmut Wilhelm (Tübingen)

During the recent years colour pupillography revealed a lot of interesting findings by stimulating directly photosensitive retinal ganglion cells which have been identified only 15 years ago. This has gained high importance in differentiating optic nerve disease and retinal degenerations and for the follow-up after therapy. This symposium will communicate the basics as well as the status quo of this subject.
