Award-Winning Works

With this convention, the DOG will change the format of their Awards Ceremony: Instead of the presentation of the eulogies, the authors of the award-winning work will themselves now introduce their results. This will emphasize the academic performance of the winners.

The aim is to present this work to a wider audience. The presentations will be grouped by subject. In the first part of the meeting on Saturday, 27.09.2014 contributions on the topics of the retina and glaucoma will be presented from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. In the subsequent second part from 4:15 to 5:45 p.m. the contributions on the subjects considered in the first section will be summarized. In this new session, the DOG recognizes the winning entries in a special way and highlights the importance and significance of scientific ophthalmology in Germany.

Further award ceremonies will take place during the Szily-Lecture as part of the symposium by the Section DOG-Uveitis and the symposium by the Section DOG-International Ophthalmology.

Participation free of charge for awardees and their relatives.
