New Format: “DOG-Kontrovers”
In the format “Discourse and dialogue – DOG Kontrovers” experts each put forward views for and against topical issues in ophthalmology. This open discourse and the subsequent discussion provides a differentiated insight into the relevant issues. Topics covered are, among other things, ocriplasmin versus vitrectomy, femtosecond cataract surgery, crosslinking and dietary supplements. Also at issue is silicone oil which is finding ever more frequent use and is possibly related to unclear vision loss. There is also talk of radiotherapy in AMD, which is currently becoming widespread.
Three sessions are envisaged covering the following topics:
Thursday, 25 September 2014, Glaucoma
Friday, 26 September Retina
Saturday, 27 September 27 Anterior segment.
